This is a guide to becoming a well rounded and versatile Explorer and then Voyager in Tales of Pirates (TOP).
The Explorer and then Voyager class in Tales of Pirates is a scout class of sorts and a seaman. If you are the explorer type or if you want to fight on the open ocean then this is your class. Voyagers are a fun class and pretty unique to the game. They can use Corals to do all sorts of cool stuff and they have some pretty fun skills.
Corals
You can obtain corals at a coral vendor (Argent 2061, 2543) and they come in level 1 and level 2. You must have a boat to recharge corals so keep that in mind. To recharge corals you have to watch the weather updates and go to the corresponding coordinates; Tornado recharges wind coral, thunderstorms recharge thunderstorm corals, etc. Be careful as some storms can damage your boat.
Level 1— 150 Gold - 100 energy
Level 2 – 5000 Gold - 900 energy
Level 3 Lightning: Rabid Squid- 1588, 3887 in Magical Ocean (Shaitan)
Level 4 Fog: Jack the Pirate's Support Ship- 1106, 3754 in Magical Ocean (Shaitan)
Level 5 Fog: Tempest Sea Jelly- 2011, 3225 in Magical Ocean (Shaitan)
Level 4 Wind: Jack the Pirate's Warship - 1106, 3754 in Magical Ocean (Shaitan)
Stat Build
First raise Spr to 20
Then raise Con to 10
Then raise Spr to 40
Then raise Con to 20
Then raise Spr to 60
Then raise Con to 30
Then raise Spr to 80
Then raise Con to 40
Then raise Spr to 100
Then raise Con to 50
**Use all remaining stat points for CON
Chronological Skill Build
Explorer Skills
Diligence – level 2
Lightning Bolt – level 8
Current – level 5
Conch Armor – level 5
Tornado – level 5
Alga Entanglement – level 8
Voyager Skills
**You will have points left over if followed correctly...
Conch Ray – 10
Tail Wind – 4
Whirlpool –5
Fog – 3
Lightning Curtain – 10
